                                              Work closely with our demo center of Ladang CARE at Chenderiang, Perak and other regional offices of CARE.
                                              Accommodation (shared) at Ladang CARE is available. 
                                              Required Skills and Experience 
                                              Technical leadership to serve as the resident specialist on agriculture for rural community development.
                                              Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with staff and local communities (including government agencies, NGOs and private sectors).
                                              Readiness for long-term journeying with communities in addressing their plight and assist them towards achieving sustainable livelihoods. 
                                              Possess organizational skills including documentation, project management, analysis and time management (eg. multitasking, deadlines, monitoring)
                                              Well versed with MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
                                              Possess driving license. Experience in driving 4-wheel pickup truck is an added advantage.

                                              2.       Assist in client case management and journey with the client for their identified areas of needs and/or empowerments.


                                              3.       Assist to organise and/or conduct awareness/training programmes on community development and/or social concern among churches and other relevant agencies.

                                              • The ideal candidate is someone who is familiar with social media, technology and has good writing skills.

                                              • The Donor Relations Leader will create and execute a list of comprehensive donor relations initiatives to maintain and grow Malaysian CARE’s donor portfolio with individuals, corporations and churches.
                                              •  The Donor Relations Leader will think strategically about donor engagement, providing creative solutions to enhance the relationship of donors with Malaysian CARE and increasing the likelihood of continued contributions.

                                              Responsibilities
                                              • Online Campaign Development

                                                  ·   Facilitate the development of fun and user friendly online campaigns that would be engaging for the public to be a part of via social media platforms.   

                                              •       Communication to Donors

                                                  ·    Develop bite-sized communication material that can be shared with donors on a frequent basis i.e e-blasts, year-end-reminders, project reports, web pages, invitations, newsletter updates, fundraising campaign materials, testimonies, transformation stories etc.      

                                              •      Administration (Database Management & Reporting)

                                                  ·   Manage the donor database system and ensure timely updating to develop quarterly and annual summaries/reports.

                                              This is a new role within Malaysian CARE and we are looking for a self-starting, hardworking, ambitious and bright individual who has a strong understanding of the social media space and is interested in design work (graphic, media, photography and videography). 

                                              This is an exciting role as you will have the opportunity to be on-the-ground, in the communities to capture amazing stories and package it to keep stakeholders informed, engaged and energised about the works in Malaysian CARE and transformation in the communities that we serve in. 

                                              To begin with, your primary concerns will have to be ideation, content creation, editing, and editorial tasks.

                                              Responsibilities

                                              Content Creation 

                                              Capturing and creating content for the right feeds – Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, website etc. 

                                              The development of great bite-sized information via video, photography, short stories.

                                              Work in partnership with staff from other departments to come up with communication material – flyers, short videos etc. 


                                              Influencer Profiling

                                              Work in partnership with other Christian Influencers to promote social concern and advocate for the poor. 


                                              Follower Community Management

                                              Gathering of data to report ‘Insights’ of social media channels/campaigns effectiveness. 

                                              Identify trends amongst followers.


                                              Social Media Channel Management

                                              Work with Head of Department to develop an annual strategy to highlight and promote key initiatives as well as maintain all social media channels.
